Step 1: You must have a file that you have found from a webpage, created yourself, or scanned in an .stl format.
Step 2: Submit your project by either coming by the library and leaving your file, or email Ramona DeAngelus at rcdeangelus92@go.mcdowelltech.edu
Step3: Staff will determine how long the file will take to print and the cost of the file. 20 cents per gram - $1.00 minimum.
Step 4: Decide which color you would like your print job to be. You can choose from red, orange, yellow, blue, purple, white, dark gray, light gray, black, or glow-in-the-dark.
Step 5: Sign the 3D Printer Request form and your project will be printed in the order it was received.

In order to have something printed on our 3D printer, you must have already created a file, found a file or used our 3D scanner to create an .stl file for printing. Prints will be performed in the order they are received and may take a few days depending on order volume.

Cost is determined by the final weight of the object (with support material). Current rates are $0.20 per gram with a $1.00 minimum.
